Meet LeAnne
LeAnne Weathers is a real estate agent, growth strategist, and visionary leader focused on helping agents build businesses and brands that truly belong to them. As the force behind HRP Realty’s growth to over 160 agents across Georgia, she’s known for challenging traditional models and creating opportunities for agents to scale with more freedom, support, and income potential. In late 2025 she decided to move the brokerage to the eXp platform.
Drive by innovation and passion for empower other, LeAnne is building the next generation of agent-centric real estate.
Feisty. Unapologetic. Builder.
Let’s start here—what are you actually building right now? What are you focused on in this season?
LeAnne: Right now, I'm building multiple income streams for agents that don't rely solely on closing deals. This season for me isn't about growing a team for ego or numbers; it's about creating opportunities for agents. Most agents are trained to think: one deal = one commission. That's outdated. Real estate compensation is just one piece. Mortgage income is another. Ownership, revenue share, title, and other ancillary income streams make up the third. I want agents to walk into a closing and realize they've been leaving money on the table this whole time. Agents should be asking, “Where else in this transaction can I participate?” Because the people making real money in this industry aren't doing more deals… they're making more per deal.
You’ve gone from traditional brokerage to building your own model to now eXp with 160+ agents… what shift changed the trajectory the most?
LeAnne: Letting go of control. When I stopped trying to build my brokerage and started plugging into a model that already worked, everything changed. I realized I didn't need to own the brokerage...I needed to own the opportunity. That shift allowed me to think bigger, move faster, and stop being tied to one structure.
You’ve also said building a brokerage isn’t the answer anymore. That’s a big statement. So if not that… what is the smarter play right now?
LeAnne: The smarter play to me is alignment, not ownership. Owning a brokerage sounds powerful... but it's heavy, expensive, and limiting. The real opportunity is to build a brand, build relationships, and plug into an existing infrastructure. And then create income streams around that. The future isn't about owning the building. It's about owning the ecosystem.
Inside your organization, what are 1–2 things you’ve implemented that are actually driving growth right now?
LeAnne: The first thing is Income Expansion Conversations. We are not just talking about selling houses. We are talking about how agents make more money per transaction. That changes everything. The second thing is proximity through events and connection. In person still wins to me. When people meet you, feel your energy, and see the vision... things move faster.
What does “agent growth” actually look like in your ecosystem? Is it production, brand, ownership, all of it?
LeAnne: All of it! Production is the baseline. The real growth is building a personal brand, creating additional income streams, and thinking like a business owner NOT just a salesperson. Agents should not only be focused on closings, if they are they are leaving money on the table.
You (and others) have described you as feisty, unapologetic, even misunderstood… how has that shaped the way you lead?
LeAnne: Yeah LOL I don't try to be for everyone. I say what most people are thinking but won't say. And yes, that makes some people uncomfortable. But the right people? They feel seen, energized, and like they can do more. I'd rather be clear and polarizing than liked and ignored.
What do you expect from the agents in your organization that most leaders don’t?
LeAnne: Great question! OWNERSHIP. Not just of their business, but of their effort, their mindset, and their results. I'm not here to drag anyone across the finish line.
If someone is 3–5 years into real estate right now, what should they be building beyond just transactions?
LeAnne: I would say relationships and leverage. Transactions pay you today and relationships and leverage pay you later. They should be building: referral pipelines, brand visibility, and additional income streams. Burnout will come faster if closings are your only income in this industry.
How do you personally think about wealth vs. income vs. freedom?
LeAnne: Income is what you make. Wealth is what you keep and build. Freedom is what your life looks like. A lot of people make great income and have zero freedom.
What’s a recent decision you made quickly that paid off?
LeAnne: Shifting how I approach conversations with agents. I started asking agents, "Have you ever looked at how you get paid across your transactions?" That one shift opened a lot more doors than any script out there that I have ever used.
And on the flip side—where have you stayed too long or learned something the hard way?
LeAnne: Trying to make things work with people who weren't aligned. Whether it's partnerships or relationships, if it's forced, it's not it. I've learned that clarity early saves time, money, and energy later.
If someone is reading this and feels like they’re capable of more but hasn’t made a move yet… what would you say to them?
LeAnne: At some point you have to stop researching, stop asking for others' thoughts, stop asking, and stop waiting. JUST MOVE! Clarity doesn't come before action. It comes from it.
What are you most excited about that we should be watching?
LeAnne: Mortgage Income for Agents. If you are an agent you gotta get in this! This industry is changing whether people are ready or not. The agents who win will be the ones who adapt, expand, and stop relying on one stream of income.
